LA HORTALIZA DE CENTRO AMERICA, ALMOLONGA QUETZALTENANGO GUATEMALA

We visited Almolonga, a municipality in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, famous for its large vegetables and its status as a Central American agricultural garden. Its name, of Nahuatl origin, means "place where water springs." We learned about the fertility of its land, its volcanic soils, its temperate climate, and its abundant natural springs that flow with every harvest or sowing. They consider the fertility of Almolonga's soil a miracle because the majority have been evangelical Christians since the 1970s. I hope you enjoy this wonderful video, because it's a place that, in addition to its good harvests, has also become a tourist attraction not only in Guatemala but also in Central America and other parts of the world.
