LEAN BITES: KEEP IT PRACTICAL

LEAN BITES: KEEP IT PRACTICAL A "bite sized" explanation of a principle that I’ve developed around Lean Implementation called Keep it Practical. In implementing a Lean program, we have the greatest opportunity at the start, to keep it practical and engage everyone. I’ll share 3 keys to help you Keep your system Practical: 1) When introducing concepts use practical methods don’t be overly academic and use localised analogies, 2) Build people as individuals & teams, encourage collaboration, 3) Encourage a “Go See” approach, visiting the Gemba as often as possible. This principle has helped me create highly effective Lean Programs from a zero start. I’m sure you’ll find this demonstration very helpful.
