Twitter: @WWScouting Instagram: @worldwide.scouting Free Agents List for clubs and agents: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=77859392 Player profile: Muhammed Jobe, 18, came to my attention playing with The Gambia U20 in the UFOA U20 2022 tournament, very little information on him but I believe not for long as he looks like diamond in the rough playing on one the fastest growing regions in Africa, football wise. Played mostly as a DM in a double pivot system, having more defensive duties than his partner in crime Mahmud Bajo, who was more of a passer. Main responsability was clearly keeping the team balanced and cohesive troughtout every stage of the game, Muhammed has a wide influence radius and will do a great job of protecting the last line of defence and stoping transitions, being the key to Gambia's fast paced with a roaming offensive diamond upfront playstyle. Positionally very strong and strategic, reads the game really well and can antecipate and react rather quick, capable of predicting and causing a lot of the opponents mistakes. While the team is on the ball, altough he isn't the main focus, he is reliable, understanding well what movements to make to open lines of passing and space to his teamates but also being able of finding the more forward players while on the ball, often connecting really well with the striker and breaking the 1st and 2nd line of pressing with simple passes, but also being able to get out of the press with his dribble and first touch in some situations. Promising dribble and passing, but still really far from desired "European levels", more specifically lacking some ball control and performing innapropriate passes at times (passes hard to control namely), it is quite dubious if he would be able to hold on against a really organized and intense pressing, his technique ability would need to be much better but he has the perfect foundations to be really solid on this department. Muhammed is an incredible off the ball and defensive player, but is also really interesting on the ball, I can see a big future for this young lad but he also represents a big risk to any club who invests in him, hopefully will happen and very soon. #MuhammedJobe #EliteUnited #scouting
