Ishimori WoodStone "New Vintage" Tenor Saxophone - Unboxing
GetASax recommends only a few models of modern saxophones. You can find our Ishimori New Vintage saxophones here: https://www.getasax.com/product-tag/i... This particular model is here: https://www.getasax.com/product/ishim... The New Vintage saxophones from Ishimori in Japan are among the few that make the cut. We will do a series of videos on these horns. Ishimori is Japan's premiere saxophone repair shop, and its in house brand products are highly respected all over the world. This horn plays a lot like a Selmer Super Balanced Action, which is intentional. The neck is very similar to an SBA neck. The key action and layout is also unusually comfortable on the New Vintage saxophones. Not only are they overhauled and setup by Ishimori, but they are also laid out so that you can easily reach everything. The action is a bit lower and lighter than most other modern horns, so you can play fast and you don't have to squeeze hard to get notes to come out. These also hold up great over time. They don't fall apart on you after a couple of years like many other brands do. Thanks for watching, and we hope you enjoy the Ishimori tenor and alto sound samples also coming up soon.
