So if you want to know what all 15 of Luffy's forms are since the beginning of the story, stay with me because that's what I'm going to show you now. Luffy's Normal Form This is the normal form of Luffy that we know, the form with his rubber body that he gained after eating the Gomu Gomu no Mi, which is actually the Zoan-type fruit Hito Hito no Mi Model Nika. In this form, Luffy can stretch, inflate, and do anything with his body that rubber can do. Aqua Luffy While in Alabasta, Luffy discovers that the Shichibukai Crocodile is behind everything, so he goes to confront and defeat him to save the kingdom of Alabasta. However, during their fight, Luffy suffers a humiliating defeat because of the intangibility of Crocodile's Logia-type sand fruit; Luffy couldn't land any of his attacks, and they simply passed through Crocodile's body without causing any damage. But after that fight, Luffy realized that Crocodile's weakness was water, and that water made him unable to transform into sand, thus preventing him from becoming intangible to attacks. So Luffy went to fight him again, but this time he brought a barrel of water to prevent Crocodile from turning into sand. However, in the middle of the fight, he quickly realized that his barrel of water could be easily broken, and he would lose his water supply. So Luffy's tactic to solve this was to drink all the water and store it inside his body, changing his form into what he called "Aqua Luffy." Luffy Gomu Gomu no Idiota, or Luffy Ultra Instinct, I think Luffy Ultra Instinct is better in this case. After Enel activated his Maxim ark and flew off destroying the sky islands, Luffy climbed onto the ark to confront him, and at first everything was going well. Because Luffy's body was made of rubber, Enel's electricity had no effect on him; no matter what voltage Enel discharged into Luffy, he felt nothing. Furthermore, Luffy's attacks ignored his intangibility. Then Enel decided to change his plans, creating a golden staff. He energized the staff, increasing its temperature, and began attacking Luffy with it, which was having an effect, since Luffy is not immune to burns. And so Enel gained the complete advantage in the fight. Seeing that he could no longer be hit by that staff, Luffy had an idea. He decided to use his Gomu Gomu no Idiota technique, losing all consciousness and acting only on pure instinct. He managed to dodge all the attacks, but because he was acting like an idiot, he couldn't counterattack. Afro Luffy During the Davy Back Fight, the Straw Hats reached the final match, a one-on-one fight, and the fighters would be Foxy of the Foxy Pirates and Luffy of the Straw Hats. Then Luffy and his trainer Usopp went to the rest room to change and prepare for the fight. And when Usopp gets there, he comes across something surprising: a large afro on the shelf. Usopp then explains to Luffy what it means, saying that this hairstyle will awaken his hidden powers, because an afro makes a champion.
