KLINGON BIRD OF PREY STUDIO SCALE FINISHED

Latest work done on an outstanding Klingon Bird of Prey Studio scale replica. The model is a superb rendition of the actual studio version used in "the search for spock" made by http://www.nicenmodeldesigns.com/ It took about a month to scratch build all the landing gear and retro fit it to an already built model, which was no small undertaking on this very expensive piece. The paint job was done to finish it off using as many references as possible, but the main brief was to have the colours bright as shown in a beauty shot image of the real thing, so its a little more vibrant than the original paint scheme, whilst following 90% of the weathering marks on the prop. It took a while but its finally finished and should be back home with its lucky owner soon. Thanks for watching all. AP
