CHRIST THE KING_MOUNT LEBANON
Thanks to Father Jacob, known as Abouna Yaacoub, the statue of Christ The King has been raised since 1950 on the hill that bears the name of Christ the King. The statue, designed by Italian artist Ernesto Palini, is 12 meters high and weighs around 75 tons. Christ The King is located 13 km from Beirut in Zouk Mosbeh, Kisrwan district of Mount Lebanon.
