'Ekirale' literally translates as 'legacy'. This music brings out the Kitooro traditional philosophy of human transcendence - overcoming the limits of space and time. According to the Batooro, a human being through his wise actions (amagezi), human behavior (obuntu) and hard work leaves enduring mark on the face of society and in the consciousness of the people.
