DIY High Power RC Fans. There are two main reasons why I wanted to do this DIY for high power fans. 1. I had some issues with my Outcast EXB 8S, with motor and esc overheating and putting my esc into Thermal Shutdown. So I wanted to do my own fans for both motor and esc (idea from East Tactics). 2. To see I could save some money by building my own fans and what the cost would be after all was done. (breakdown of price at the end). Now lets see if I can get a longer runtime during the summer in the Back 40 (backyard) in the grass LOL. I will warn you, this video is about 30min long.
