The Century Old MINERS PICKAXE That Led Me To GOLD!

In the winter of 2023 I embarked on a remote five day gold prospecting adventure into the historic gold mining areas of Tasmania's rainforests. My mate Rob Parsons joined me for the adventure and after three days of gruelling work and cold weather we had little to show for our efforts. On day four we arrived at the area that the old miners had sunk their picks over one hundred and thirty years ago. At this point our luck began to change and while working through the gravels of the river I unearthed an incredible old relic an old pickaxe that the miners had left behind. It's been two years and I regret leaving the old pickaxe on the side of the river so with a good window of weather I decide to make the return trip back in to find more gold and see if I can find that century old relic left behind!!
