The model is composed of two axes: the dominance axis and the relationship axis. By crossing these two axes, four quadrants are created: the upper-together quadrant, the lower-together quadrant, the lower-opposite quadrant, and the upper-opposite quadrant. There are two basic rules for choosing your own behavior. 1) Behavior on the dominance axis elicits opposite behavior, and 2) behavior on the relationship axis elicits similar behavior. By communicating primarily from the together position, as a teacher, you can prevent conflicts and increase the likelihood of engaging your students. The Interaction Guide builds on the principles of Leary's Rose and is a tool for analyzing and improving interpersonal interactions. Roughly speaking, analyzing and improving interactions follows the following four steps: Step 1: Identifying behavior, Step 2: Predicting responses, Step 3: Modifying behavior, and Step 4: Applying it in practice. 🔗 GENERIC KNOWLEDGE BASE LINK: Domain A - The school as a learning environment ➝ teacher's teaching skills Subdomain A5 - Managing goals Core concepts: A5.5 - Guidance in different learning environments, A5.6 - Classroom management 🏷️ Follow us on your favorite channel: Newsletter: https://eenmeesterinleren.nl/nieuwsbr...
