He also questioned the difference between KDMP and modern minimarkets if they only sell the same products. According to him, village cooperatives should focus more on providing basic necessities such as gas, rice, sugar, cooking oil, and flour. They should also serve as a platform for local MSME products so that their economic benefits truly benefit the village community. "If we were to create a cooperative like Indomaret or Alfamart, what's the difference? They'd just change the name. Everything they sell is manufactured goods. Those are owned by wealthy people," Yoyok said. During the meeting, the Ministry of MSMEs proposed an additional budget of approximately IDR 1.5 trillion beyond the indicative ceiling of IDR 459 billion.
