Repairing a Garden Hose - one connector I WONT buy

However, I know there are several manufacturers and some plastic ones are going to be cheaper than others but the ones I find in hardware stores are usually all the same. To make it easier to insert the fitting into the hose, heat the hose with a blowdryer or use some liquid dish soap.
