Eachine E129 Long Flying Altitude Hold Flybarless Stabilized Helicopter Flight Test Review
This stabilized helicopter now includes altitude hold to help new pilots take to the air. A great flier indoors and outdoors. But its altitude hold capability really shines indoors, allowing stable altitude hover, helping to avoid crashing into the ceiling. Find it here http://bit.ly/Eachine-E129 Pros Inexpensive helicopter for what this can do. Lightweight, only 46 grams. Flybarless helicopter. All stabilization is done through onboard 6G electronic gyros and accelerometers. Easy to fly with this stabilization system. It's very similar (if not the same) as flying a 6G stabilized drone. Upgraded version of the popular Eachine E119, that now includes altitude hold to help beginner pilots maintain steady elevation, especially indoors. Very maneuverable with swashplate cyclic control of pitch and roll (collective up/down control is through throttle power only). Powered by inexpensive brushed 8520 main rotor motor, and 0615 tail rotor motor. Also powered by very common and inexpensive 3.7V 300mah LiPo battery with LoSi connector. VERY efficient flier as compared to other simlar helicopters of this class. I got close to 15 minutes flight time with a single 300mah battery. Available with switchable Mode 1 (right stick throttle) or Mode 2 (left stick throttle) controller. Select the Mode 2 controller at checkout if you're not sure which to select ;-) You can always change the modes as the controller is switchable between the two modes. Cons Brushed motors. They will fail eventually some day. But replacement motors are cheap and widely available. Although the altitude hold feature eases flying, it also dampens elevation control, making it less nimble in up and down movement (as compared to the Eachine E119 without altitude hold).
