In the previous video, we completed a y pipe swap from a Lotus Evora. In this video, we dyno tested the car to see how much MORE horsepower we made on the car! The results are in, and throw a pickle at us... It appears the remaining power that is to be had is not left in the Y pipe, but rather the rest of the exhaust system? If you own ANY 2GR-FE-powered car, you NEED to watch this video series. The 2GR-FE is a very common drivetrain. It was featured for over a decade and was used in the Lexus ES350, RX350, RX450h, Toyota Camry, Avalon, Aurion, Venza, Sienna, Highlander, and the Toyota RAV4 JUST to name a few. This video is the first of many, where you and I will explore some of the CHEAPEST ways to add some more horsepower to your car, for as little money as possible. Each video in the series will explore a different cheap modification you can do at home to your 2GR. To start the series off, we explore the exhaust system, and replace the Y pipe with a different OEM replacement from a Lotus Evora! The OEM Lotus Evora Y-Pipe could be had for quite cheap. We paid 180 bucks for the y pipe on eBay, including free shipping. The very small modification completed on the exhaust to connect the two flanges together was very simple. If you happen to have any sort of welder at home, you could easily complete the swap to the Evora y PIPE!
