Dr Dominic Sandbrook - 'The 80s' - QMUL PHU - Full Talk The Queen Mary Public History Unit was delighted to host Dr Dominic Sandbrook for a lecture on Britain during the 1980s in November 2016. Sandbrook is a leading historian on popular culture in post-war Britain. He has published four books in a series on the history of Britain since the mid 1950s and he is now working on the fifth volume, provisionally entitled Who Dares Wins, which will cover the period from 1979 to 1984. Sandbrook is a regular contributer to BBC Television and Radio. His latest show 'The 80s' was televised last summer on BBC2.
