Easy Macrame Bag Tutorial | Adjustable Strap | Double Half Hitch Knot

Learn how to make this beautiful macrame shoulder bag using only the basic Double Half Hitch Knot. Even if you don't know this knot yet, don't worry—it's easy to learn, and I'll guide you through the whole process. All cord measurements and materials are listed below. ✨ Materials • 4 mm cotton cord • Fabric lining (any fabric you like) • Magnetic snap button • Needle & thread (or a sewing machine) • Measuring tape • Scissors 📏 Cord Measurements Main body: 32 cords × 145 cm working cords: 18 cords × 80–85 cm Shoulder straps: 6 cords × 80 cm Connecting cord: 1 cord × 140 cm Total cord used: approximately 77 meters (4 mm cotton cord) 🧵 Notes • I started knotting from the middle of the cords instead of attaching them to the dowel with Lark's Head Knots. • To create the woven texture, simply turn the work over and continue knotting from the other side using the same Double Half Hitch Knot. • I sewed the lining with a sewing machine, but you can easily sew it by hand if you prefer.
