We will introduce all the different means of transportation and for sure show you more beautiful spots of Hamburg. We are basically going around the city center and will talk about the different apps to use. The HVV app is the one to book tickets and navigate with all the busses and subways (Bahn/S-Bahn) and the FREE NOW app is the one you need for Taxis, motorcycle, car sharing and renting of electric rollers. In both apps it is best to put a payment method and then you are free to go wherever you want. Additionally there is an app which is called MOIA. MOIA is a mixture between bus and taxi and brings you around the city in an electrical bus for maximum 6 persons, extra built for the company MOIA which belongs to VW. There are many holding points around the city where you get picked up and then they drive you wherever you want. In case another persons wants to go into the same directions they can book themselves also in that car and maybe you just go a few minutes off your direct road to pick them up and their destination could be before or also after yours or even the same. So the route of the car is never really known before and MOIA goes wherever the customers want it to go. Very cool! Also there are many rollers in the city. It is very nice to go with them especially in the summer. You can use the FREE NOW app or for other roller companies just scan the QR code which is located on the roller and you directly get to the right page or app to also use those. It is especially nice for short distances if you don’t want to walk or just to have fun. Interesting as well is, that you can use ferries at the Elbe river and you just use your HVV bus/subway ticket. You can for example go from the harbour to the Elbstrand (beach) or Blankenese (very famous and beautiful area/city-district in Hamburg). Special until august for all the visitors is the 9-Euro ticket around Germany. Because of high energy prices the government decided to give out tickets for all the busses and regional/local trains for a great price of 9€/month.
