Video Game Trick 249: Super Mario All Stars (SNES) - Infinite Lives Trick!

Here's a neat trick: if you have either Super Mario All-Stars and/or Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World, then you can do this trick with the first 4 Mario games (SMB1, SMB2J/SMBL, SMB2U and SMB3). It does not work with SMW (the original version of SMW, that is). I didn't bother doing the Infinite Lives Trick with SMB2J/SMBL (because there's no 1UP near World 1-1). Trust me, though - it works with SMBL. Note that you can do this trick on the GBA versions of SMB2, SMB3 and SMW (SMA, SMA2 & SMA4) since those games save the number of lives that you have.
