CTA Ride Series: Full Ride on the Pink Line from the Loop to 54th/Cermak

Welcome to the Chicago ride series! The CTA "L" system is the most famous elevated railway system in the world, comprising of eight colored lines: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, and Pink. The Pink Line is the newest designated line in the system, given its color in 2008. Originally part of the Blue Line, the Pink Line runs through the city of Cicero, then into the western neighborhoods and up to the Lake Street Elevated, where it joins the Green Line to head to the Loop. The Pink and Blue Line tracks are still connected via the Loomis Ramp, but it is used for not in service trains.
