Milling Lumber for Our Off Grid Workshop | Almost Ruining a Brand New Sawmill

In this video, we'll attempt to mill our own lumber using our brand new sawmill. The plan is to build an off grid workshop amongst many other buildings for our future homestead with the help of this tool. Our goal is to become as self sufficient as possible while living off the grid. This summer, we sold most of our possessions and moved from our rental city apartment to a 1982 camper. This we hope will enable us to put more of our money and time into transforming our partly overgrown property into a homestead, once again. The property has not had permanent residence for over 80 years, but has been homesteaded for at least two centuries before us. It's without road access at the moment, but until we have received the road permit, we're building what we can, by foot and with our own lumber.
