The Cupra Formentor is the first car developed from scratch by the now independent Cupra brand… That is, it uses the well-known MQB Evo platform, the same as the new Golf and Leon. This Formentor we see today is what the brand calls the Formentor High, powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine, developing 310 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. All of this is connected to a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4Drive all-wheel drive. Its combined fuel consumption, according to the book, is 12.9 km/l. Additionally, its top speed is 250 km/h (155 mph), and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 4.9 seconds. Cupra Formentor prices start at approximately $654,900 MXN / approximately $31,700 USD. And the version we tested today starts at approximately $861,900 MXN / approximately $41,700 USD.
