Shockwave for Plantar Fasciitis Heel Pain Treatment

Plantar fasciitis is a very stubborn chronic condition resulting in heel pain with walking, running, and sometimes even at rest. In this video we demonstrate Shockwave treatment for plantar fasciitis which has been very effective! Dionne has had plantar fasciitis for over 3 years now, and we have tried everything from ASTYM to Dry Needling to Strengthening and stretching...but she has still been plagued by pain in the heel. This has been the most painful in the morning when she gets out of bed in the morning and after she has been resting for a while. It comes and goes, but has never gone totally away. So, after 2 Shockwave treatments, she is 90% better and is having no limping or pain in the morning! Pretty awesome. This is her 3rd treatment and we will probably do a total of 5 to 6 treatments on her foot and lower leg. Shockwave is somewhat new, and we are excited to use it with our patients at Align Therapy in Lehi, Utah.
