Week two with Syntakt and having lot of fun. I received a lot of questions about how it compares to Rytm and Machinedrum, so I decided to spend a little time talking about that. In the first part of the video I will show you how Syntakt works with external sounds ( I think it can be a great small performance machine). I am using the Abstract Instruments Avalon ( 303 clone on steroids ) and the Oto Boum. In the second part I will discuss what are the strengths of the Elektron drum trio : Rytm, Machinedrum and Syntakt. While I will start from a similar pattern to show the differences, this is not to be considered a comparison, but my personal ideas on the production value of them. Spoiler alert: I love them all and keeping them, as they are great for different uses. This video is not supported or sponsored by any company, all I say is my honest opinion. 00:00 Introduction 03:15 My thought on Syntakt after 2 weeks 04:16 Some new patterns 06:19 Adding external sounds 09:40 My thoughts on the three Elektron Instruments 11:50 Same pattern, different results 16:40 What modern Elektron machines leads to 19:15 Final thoughts #elektronsyntakt #syntakt #otoboum #synthesizer #machinedrum #analogrytm More Oora: Instagram   / ooramusic   Bandcamp https://oora.bandcamp.com Soundcloud   / ooramusic   Spotify https://tinyurl.com/4w459x3m
