This is a re-edit of an earlier reaction to Friday that we released on the channel a while ago. Jaby & Vivian watch Friday, which follows Craig and Smokey, two friends from South Central Los Angeles, as they navigate a chaotic day filled with mischief, laughs, and life lessons. When Craig is forced to stay home from work, he and Smokey spend the day hanging out, getting into trouble, and trying to figure out how to deal with a local drug dealer who's after Smokey for money. The film mixes comedy with moments of reflection on life, friendship, and community. This film is directed by F. Gary Gray (The Negotiator, Straight Outta Compton, Set It Off), & the film stars Ice Cube (Boyz n the Hood, Barbershop, Ride Along), Chris Tucker (Rush Hour, Jackie Brown, The Fifth Element), Nia Long (The Best Man, Big Momma's House, Soul Food), Tiny Lister (The Dark Knight, No Holds Barred, The Fifth Element), and John Witherspoon (The Wayans Bros., Boomerang, A Thousand Words).
