FREIGHT TRAINS BATTLE BEAUMONT HILL - Great Views, RAW Power Audio & A Conductor Protects the X-ing!

We start out at the top of the grade, in Beaumont, CA. A Westbound Stack train crawls up to the crossing, and the conductor gets out to protect the crossing. They probably had a crossing order from the Dispatcher, requiring them to stop and protect. Once they're done with that, they are back on the move! As They pass thru town, we see some cool rail served industries including a Lowe's Distribution center with tracks and a box car going into the warehouse! And also a Orange Juice plant that takes covered hoppers, delivered by Union Pacific. From there we fly a few miles West, into San Timoteo Canyon, where we catch an Eastbound Manifest climbing the grade on "Yellow" signals at Hinda. As they crawl up the hill, the Intermodal train from Beaumont starts down the hill after momentarily being held up by a track inspector ahead. This made for a nice meet right here! Later, a few miles West again, we find the Stack train stopped again, as an Eastbound Z-Train powers up the grade thru the Canyon. And finally, further West still, at the beginning of the Canyon near Redlands, the stack train makes it's way into town, for a crew change at West Colton. After they pass, An Eastbound Auto train begins their ascent to the top. They meet another stacker coming down hill thru Ordway in the orange groves, making for another really cool meet! It also looks like UP has some kind of Maintenace of Way staging area here, at MP546 Redlands on the Yuma Sub.
