A week in Alghero - Sardinia. Best Places to visit | Culture | Family Fun | Adrenalin pumping.

This was a family holiday to Sardinia , Italy. Alghero was out starting point as we flew into the airport just outside Alghero . We hired a car from Avis to get around. We had an amazing week exploring in and around the North west of Sardinia -Alghero - worth exploring the historic city centre , walking around the city walls . A good selection of shops and restaurants . It's also really great to wander around in the evening it has a great atmosphere and the tourist shops stay open until late. -Road trip to Bosa about 55 mins from Alghero the most colourful town in Sardinia -Best Beaches - Spiaggia di Porto and Cala Bramassia Boat hire from Alghero marina great service no need for a license -https://www.aresturismo.it/en/ We hired for a day and went out to the porte conte area . There is a cave you can visit with the boat on the Isola di Foradada but be aware of the currents and tides. Best hike - 7 mile loop a moderately challenging loop taking approx 4 hours- Its part of the Porte conte national park and you need to pay 9 euros to complete the hike. There is a beauiful cove on route ( Cala Bramassia ) and a restaurant at the Punto Gaglia.
