Cart to Clyde mp4
Jamie Wardrop has made a beautiful, immersive exhibition. Funded by OneRen Culture with StudioFV, Creative Renfrewshire and University of the West of Scotland the project is called “From the Cart to the Clyde”. He exhibited in UWS Paisley Campus, 4th and 5th June 2026. Jamie’s work lives in the space between scientific and creative research - responding to stories from local people, local authority officers and the White Cart river itself. The river shows her changing personality from source - supporting indigenous wildlife and invasive species, through rural landscapes, farmland and finally into shopping trolley strewn/wet wipe clogged urban landscapes. Jamie’s work also measures rainfall levels longitudinally - observing climate change in real time. He is one of three Renfrewshire based socially-engaged artists on the project. The other artists will complete their projects in the coming weeks. www.creativerenfrewshire.com www.fablevision.uk www.turning-thetide.com www.river-cities.org uws.ac.uk/university-life/campuses/paisley-campus
