They traveled across the world… and didn’t even stop to rest. At midnight, after a long international journey, my parents, aunt, and uncle landed in the Philippines — and instead of staying overnight in Davao city, they took a night ferry straight to Samal Island just to see us sooner. We hadn’t seen each other for over 6 months. The kids were already asleep, but I stayed up… waiting, listening to the rain, until finally — they arrived. Soaked from a powerful tropical storm, exhausted, but smiling, glowing with happiness. And then, at 2 AM, something magical happened. They opened their bags… and took out Easter cakes and painted eggs they had carried all the way from Russia. So there we were — in the middle of the night, in a small house on a tropical island — celebrating Easter together. But island life had its own surprises waiting… Just before they arrived, we moved into a nearest house to prepare everything — and inside, we found a HUGE centipede.
