Simple Degree Indexing on a Lathe Without an Index Plate!
Here's a method I figured out on how to index a work piece on a lathe for marking out degrees or divisions. This is very useful for marking 3, 4 or more holes on a piece. This is the most accurate method I have found without using an actual index plate.
