Umberto Eco - La Biblioteca del Mondo (Trailer Ufficiale)
Umberto Eco's private library was a world unto itself: more than 30,000 volumes of contemporary titles and 1,500 rare and antique books. Davide Ferrario, who had collaborated with Umberto Eco on a video installation at the Venice Art Biennale a year before the writer's death, gained access to the library thanks to the active collaboration of his family. The result is a documentary that not only describes an extraordinary place, but also attempts to grasp the meaning of the idea of a library as a "memory of the world," as Eco himself defined it. With Giuseppe Cederna, Niccolò Ferrero, Paolo Giangrasso, Walter Leonardi, Zoe Tavarelli, Mariella Valentini. Directed by: Davide Ferrario Editing: Cristina Sardo Photography: Andrea Zambelli, Andrea Zanoli Music: Carl Orff Original Music: Fabio Barovero Sound Designer: Vito Martinelli Executive Producer: Ladis Zanini
