Twin Painting! This worked out GREAT 🖤 How to create the Perfect Diptych Painting

See the First Painting here:    • I tried someting TOTALLY Different and it ...   In today's video, I'm super excited to share the process of creating a new piece of art with you. Right in front of me, I have this finished painting that you might have seen me create before. It's framed, finished, and I'm absolutely loving it. I also have the same size canvas here that needs to be painted, and I thought, why not create a diptych (2 panels) out of this? Initially, I considered mirroring the design by continuing the stem from the existing painting to the new canvas, but I decided to try something a bit different and more interesting. I'll be creating a stem on the new canvas and extending a flower from the bottom, using the same black base and color palette. It's important to see where the stem needs to go, so I'll be aligning it with the finished painting to ensure they match perfectly. Once the black base is ready, I'll add some beautiful interference gold lines. This part is always exciting because the gold shines so brilliantly once it dries. After that, I'll start working with white, permanent violet, and sap green to create the flower design. I'm a little bit nervous about making sure the two pieces match perfectly, but I think it will turn out great. As I progress, I'll evaluate the composition and make adjustments as needed. I really want to get the balance right and make sure both panels complement each other beautifully. Both paintings are also available as prints on my website in their true sizes. I'm really happy with how they turned out and would love to hear your thoughts on them. This is probably not the last time I'll be working on a black base – I'm just loving the contrast and how it makes the colors shine.
