ProCo RAT2 vs MOOER Black Secret into a Marshall 1987x

This is a comparison of a 2023 ProCo RAT2 pedal and a MOOER Black Secret. The Black Secret is a mini pedal clone of the RAT2. For this video, I am keeping the Black Secret in the 'Vintage' setting and I am only adjusting the DISTORTION on each pedal. The MOOER Black Secret has the same distortion sound as the RAT2 but it is slightly brighter when the FILTER controls are set the same. It is a great sounding mini pedal. The pedals are going into the front of a Marshall 1987x head (channel 1), a 1936 cab and of course, the head is cranked! Again I really enjoyed using these pedals and both pedals produced a fat tone considering I am using a Stratocaster single coil pickups. I created a loop of music that I use to demonstrate the pedals on rhythm guitar and then lead. The first rhythm guitar part is a faster punk/metal style and then I slow it down to more of a 80s rock/metal rhythm. Finally I demonstrate the pedals on lead guitar. As usual, I used the bridge pickup on a USA Fender Stratocaster for all the rhythm guitar parts and this time, for the lead as well.
