Ise-Shima Trip, Day 1. We departed Chiba at 3 AM, embarking on a long 500km drive to Ise. The main objective of this trip was to visit Ise Grand Shrine and two "climbable lighthouses." However, I've actually had very little interest in temples and shrines until now. So why did I head to Ise Grand Shrine? And what did I feel when I actually visited? The trip concludes with a visit to the Ise-Shima Skyline. The views from the Ichida Observatory and the Asama Mountain Summit Observatory made me forget the fatigue of the long drive. Finally, we ended day one at Meotoiwa (Married Couple Rocks), gazing at the sea during magic hour. Please watch until the end.
