From there I planted them root end down in a seed tray, kept them under a humidity dome on a sunny windowsill and watched them emerge. One important thing nobody tells you — pomegranate seedlings come up reddish pink not green. Completely normal and honestly beautiful. After transplanting the strongest seedling into its own pot I pruned the crown by one third to force stronger root growth and branching. Once it was strong enough it went outside to full sun where a pomegranate truly belongs.
