Elite Village, Ren'ai Township, Nantou County - Elite Wild Creek Hot Spring ♨️ A relaxing and leisurely wild creek hot spring trip. The hot spring pools are less than a 5-minute walk away. The local shuttle driver, a hunter, was incredibly nice. He helped us carry our equipment and belongings to the campsite. In the evening, he chatted and socialized with us, sharing stories about the local area and Elite Hot Spring, as well as the upstream Yunhai Hot Spring. He helped us find firewood to start a campfire and even went to a local grocery store to buy food. The whole evening was heartwarming. This incredibly helpful shuttle driver left a deep impression. Oh, and he even had an extra role in the movie Seediq Bale XD Elite Hot Spring, also known as "Bukashan Hot Spring," is located on the Taro Bay Creek in Elite Village, Ren'ai Township, Nantou County. It's the upstream source of Lushan Hot Spring and a secret retreat for the Seediq indigenous people to relieve fatigue. The spring water is a weakly alkaline carbonic acid spring, bubbling from the riverbed. The water temperature is about 55-75 degrees Celsius. The hot spring is abundant and covers a wide area; many hot spring pools can be found along the entire creek. The water temperature is wonderful when mixed with the Taro Bay Creek water. Soaking in the spring at night and in the morning are completely different experiences and atmospheres. There's still a lot of fine black sand at the bottom that you can apply to your face, but it wasn't captured in the video. It's so relaxing and allows you to fully enjoy the natural scenery of Taro Bay Valley. This time, I joined the "I'm Not at Home, I'm on the Mountain" group, a small, independent outdoor group.
