My morning started with a fig and cream cheese toast that I’ve been wanting to try for a while. For lunch, we had crispy vegetable kakiage with soba noodles, and in the afternoon, I took a slow break with a canelé and coffee brewed in my new Bialetti Moka pot. For dinner, we enjoyed miso-marinated cod—a special treat since it can be a bit hard to find a good variety of fish here in Dallas. I hope this video captures the cozy, everyday vibe of our life here in Texas, surrounded by the shops and daily essentials we love.
