Today we had the opportunity to visit Chiang Khan, a charming riverside town steeped in the charm of traditional life. We visited during the rainy season, but we didn't see any rain. Chiang Khan offers a wealth of attractions, including a walking street, a skywalk, numerous ancient temples, and riverside restaurants. But what I really enjoyed about our two-day, one-night stay was the atmosphere within Chiang Khan, which has a distinctly ancient charm. The accommodations, food, and location along the Mekong River are all within reach, and the locals are incredibly friendly to tourists. Another favorite was the morning sticky rice alms-giving ceremony. I witnessed the culture and beautiful sights of the alms-giving ceremony on the walking street. Even for those who don't like to wake up early, I was excited to wake up at 5:30 AM to offer alms. There are still many places in Chiang Khan I haven't visited yet. I'll definitely be back.
