In Genesis 1:14 God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years.” This verse tells us that God appointed the stars with a purpose to mark significant times in history. When you think about days that God would consider sacred, surely the birth, death and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ would be some of those sacred days!
