Bringing the African Diaspora Communities of Los Angeles together for an annual celebration of culture, food, music, and community spirit. What made it extra special was having the full blessing and involvement of the city, including LA Mayor Karen Bass and members of the City Council. I had the incredible privilege of attending the annual celebration of the African Diaspora Communities of LA, held right on the LA Trade-Technical College (LATTC) campus. This historic event was made possible with the special permits, blessings, and official involvement of the city, including LA Mayor Karen Bass and members of the LA City Council! From vibrant cultural displays, incredible music, and delicious traditional food to an energetic World Cup watch party, the community spirit was unmatched.
