updated wash day routine 2021 | step-by-step from start to finish: 4b/4c protective styling + growth

hey besties! i'm back with a highly requested updated wash day routine. in this video i show you all my wash day process from start to finish. starting with my detangling routine the night before that minimizes breakage and then waking up the next morning to go through my actual hair washing process then right into deep conditioning. i, of course, show you guys all of the products i use including my detangler, shampoo, conditioner, hair mask/deep conditioner, and hair grease. i also make a point in showing you guys the exact products i use to get my hair moisturized so it's in a manageable state for protective styling. i felt it was important to include how exactly the products are applied and layered in my hair as that is super important in making sure your hair is nourished throughout which will in turn aid in the prevention of breakage and help length retention. i also showed you my favorite protective style which is 8 cornrows straight back. unfortunately, i cannot cornrow ): so my mom always braids my hair down for me. she's the best! i talk about how i grew my hair almost back to it's original length before my big chop and show you guys the products i use to maintain this style for up to 7 days! i hope you guys enjoy and learn a little bit of something from my updated wash day routine on my 4b/4c type hair for protective styling.
