THE ART & CHILDREN’S ILLUSTRATIONS OF WANDA GÁG
Wanda Gág was one of the earliest 20th century illustrators to create picture books for children, where the images were dominant over the minimal text. She was also significant in that almost all her work, whether art or illustration, was created as monochrome. Although yet another who I covered briefly in the unsung heroes strand it's high time she had her own video, I think.
