Touring the source of River Nile the longest river in the world also referred to as the Father of African rivers covering 4130 miles or 6650 kilometers from Lake Victoria in Jinja City Uganda south of the Equator and flows northward through northeastern Africa to drain into the Mediterranean Sea. The Nile is formed by three principal streams: the Blue Nile, The Atbara which flows from the highlands of Ethiopia and the drainage basin of River Nile includes parts the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Sudan, Republic of the Sudan, and Egypt, Its most distant source is the Kagera River in Burundi.
