About 50 minutes by car from Kumamoto City, this time I visited the quiet mountain town of Yamato. Surrounded by nature and history — from Tsūjun Bridge to Goroga Falls — I explored forest cafés, a local sake brewery, and the culture deeply rooted in this area. It may not be a flashy tourist destination, but it was a day where I could truly feel the quiet richness and slow rhythm unique to this town.
