Hello, people of God!! In Judges 5, we see Deborah as a prophetess and judge, being powerfully used by God. However, she never diminished her essential role as "mother of Israel," recognizing that her titles were secondary to her role in the home and community. By singing her song with Barak, Deborah awakens the people to true unity. This harmony allows each person to assume their specific role, without needing to take on the role of another. When we do not understand this principle, we cease to be the church—the living body of Christ—and begin to act like members of a social club, where we only enjoy the benefits but do not truly belong.
