See which one is better for your workflow. Original Description: Working through taking a 3D model and laying out elevation and section views in Vectorworks. After a lot of research and trial and error of laying out plates with viewports for each view and detail, we found the files to be too processor intensive and inefficient. This technique lets you make a leaner, meaner file, though it's more work for revisions and changes. This tutorial uses VW 2018, but any version from 2016 forward should work with the same techniques.
