It features a powerful 247cc air-cooled, parallel-twin, two-stroke motor and a six-speed transmission. The RD250 also features Yamaha's autolube system that automatically mixes the fuel and two-stroke oil. Yamaha sold many of their RD line. They are lightweight, simple, powerful, fun, and quite successful at the racetrack!
