Managing a group of creative people always comes with its own unique set of challenges, but managing a small ensemble can be even harder, especially when trying to actually 'make it' in the music business. My name is Rob and I was band leader of multiple groups for over 10 years, one of which actually did turn a decent profit, so this is my list of suggestions to help you set yourself up for success. I made MANY mistakes through those years, from legal issues, managing personalities and work ethics issues and everything in between.
