A visit to Brooklands Museum | Concorde G-BBDG, aviation heritage, motoring history, Buses & more!

A visit to Brooklands Aviation and Motoring museum today, occupying part of the former Brooklands Motor Course in Weybridge, Surrey. The phenomenal collection included aviation highlights from Concorde G-BBDG, better known as 'Delta Golf', the third British built Concorde built, one of only two Vickers MK1A Wellington Bombers N2980 rescued from Loch Ness in 1985, two hangars packed with aircraft and aviation history, Barnes Wallis Stratosphere Chamber built in 1946 to investigate high-speed flight at very high altitudes, the adjacent London Bus Museum, and listed buildings packed with racing car legends including the record holding Napier-Railton. We were able to go walking around the aircraft and other attractions at the collection, sit in a selection of the cockpits and spent time engrossed in reading up on the history of many of the aircraft and vehicles on display and engaging with the passionate volunteers who make this place well worth a visit! The Concorde experience was an additional charge but well worth the money to get onboard and see the extraordinary task undertaken to bring the aviation icon from Filton to Brooklands piece by piece! | 23.09.2025 I hope you enjoy this video and thank you for watching!
