Sandy beaches, Mediterranean climate, fascinating monuments, excellent cuisine and the title of the sunniest city in Europe. Discover Alicante, the ideal destination for those craving the sea, holidays under palm trees and history lovers. --------------------------------------------------- Alicante is located in eastern Spain, in the Valencian Community. This is where the Costa Blanca, or the White Coast, is located, a popular tourist region on the Mediterranean Sea, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, high cliffs and sun. Coming here, we can be almost certain of beautiful weather, due to the fact that Alicante can boast over 300 sunny days a year and only 30 rainy ones. When visiting this place, you have to taste local cuisine specialties such as paella, seafood or fish.
